What the Lion is to the Cat, the Mastiff is to the Dog, the Noblest of the Family; He stands alone, and all others sink before him. ~Cynographia Britannica 1800~

My name is Stacy Woodcox of Stacy's Mastiffs. I am located in Rochester, Indiana, USA. I have been raising English Mastiffs for over 10 years.
I have always loved these big dogs and after getting my first English Mastiff, over 20 years ago, I just had to have more and more of them. I feel they are, by far, the best of all breeds. English Mastiffs are absolutely the best family dog and are amazingly gentle with children of all ages. They are truly so gentle at heart. You gotta love a big couch potato.
Their appearance is more intimidating than anything. They will stand guard to protect their family. They will step in front of you if you encounter someone they don’t know or are not sure of. They are very in tune to our feelings and know if we are anxious or tentative. And they are sensitive on other levels. You can hurt their feelings, so I absolutely recommend fear-free training. If you have never had a Mastiff before, you will never want another breed after owning one.
My goal in breeding English Mastiffs is to make sure the breed maintains its integrity. I ensure that all dogs are bred to AKC standards for the best possible puppies. I have been working hard to build a breeding program to produce big, beautiful Mastiffs for health, temperament, and longevity. I screen my dogs for conditions such as eye anomalies such as PRA & CMR1. And DM which is a spinal disease which causes paralyzation in rear end. And I perform OFA screenings for hips, elbows and patella. I research and study pedigrees and histories of dam and sire thoroughly, and I am careful to be sure the match will produce the best puppies possible. I am a Licensed Kennel, and have been inspected by the American Kennel Club. We own 11 acres so there is plenty of room for the dogs to run and enjoy life. In the summer, they love going into the river to cool off. All my dogs are individually cared for and loved. Each is a part of my family.
I am proud of my dogs and my breeding program. I try to keep in touch with all my puppy clients. We have become a very large extended family! I am available to them for the life of their dogs. I love to hear how each pup is doing, see pictures often, and help with any questions or issues they may have. I am happy to refer you to them for any questions you may have about me or my pups.
If you’re interested in adding a healthy, sweet, and lovable English Mastiff to your family, please feel free to call/text or email me!
